In my
opinion the most important advice
that I could give to my friend who came in Canada later than me is to
put all
his/her immigration documents in order. Otherwise he may come across a
lot
unsuspected major problems with that. Second advice would be to take
some
important documents such as insurance
number or health card as soon as possible.
Then
he
should take effort to improve his knowledge of English language for
that to
manage to find some proper good
job. Then follow looking for a room or
apartment for rent. Also i would advise him/her to take exams in driver
license
and buy a car if he/has has enough money for that.
As it is known moving without a car is very
uncomfortable in a big city.
If my friend took even some advices I
gave him/her it would be useful for him/her☺
Be Patient
Congratulations
to every one has the chance to be landed in Canada.
You make your mind to be cheerfull and happy,
you will find a lot of difficulties like the language, the weather,
lots of
advanced technology. A lotof wonderful thing that you want to buy, to achieve. A good advice is to be
patient you have to relax, observe, watch and learn as much as you can
about
your new home country and love it.
Everything will be good be patient to be
fit in the new culture.
You
will
find some difficulty in facing some
daily problems, be patient go forward to the new commer’s centre and
ask for
helps, trust them, they want you to be a good citizen and succed one.
Please
don’t be in a hurry to achieve your dreams everything will be all
right, just
you have to work hard and be honest in your struggling, let the stress
and complaining
and enjoy the beauti of the nature, the facilities offered to you,
freedom,
peace, good education, health care peaceful transportation clearful
people friendly
people even the pets (dogs and cats) are very friendly.
Be
patient
but go forward and have confidence in your self, and in your new
congregation,
you will be evaluated and if will find a lot of encouragements, just
keep going
open your heart and your mind and ask for help, you will be answered.
When
I came
to Canada I didn’t know about the programs that help the new comers and
resources centres, they are very useful and helpfull go foward and
beleive in
your self in the others don’t be afraid.
God
Bless
