How is Canadian Culture different from that of your country?

In  my country is something diffirent with Canada. I’ll tell about my country, I think everybody probably want to know something about Vietnam.  Vietnam is a small country. We have only 2 season in South. They’re spring and summer. It’s so hot in summer and cool, rain in spring, but in Canada we have 4 in Northern but it’s not really cold in the winter, it’s around 18 or 20 degree.  About transportation; motorbikes and bicycles are popular there, we don’t use much cars or vans.......Specially, we have to pay for everything and every where, nothing is free there.  For example: In the school, we have to pay from Elementary school to College or University, moreover; About Insurance Health it’s too expensive, it’s not free like in Canada.

About custom in Vietnam and Canada, I think both country , the people is good, but something, I don’t understand their custom. It’s so diffirent from my country. The  young man and woman are very normal. They kiss in the public, they do everything they want. That’s something I want to talk with you about diffirent between Canada and my country.

Make a Change

 I came from Pakistan 4 months ago. I like my life in canada, but there is one thing i would like to change. i personally think that all communities should work here as members of one team. We need communicate with each other in every important matter.We cannot live only in our national communities. We should all feel and act like Canadians, like members of one nation. We need to focus first on our country problems. it is important for everyone not only for our communities' members. in this way canada will progress in every field and be a good place to live for everyone.

My husband and I born in the earths east and west

Our different cultures stay in our hearts

God made us meet on the internet

We had different habits deeply ingrained

Together we walk like on snow and ice

Life needs comprenhension to change habits

How is Canadian Culture different from that of your country?

 
Each country had his own culture, that differ then another country.

For the difference between my native country “Egypt” and Canada  I can found a lot of difference. There is some of them.........

For example, in Egypt the girls must stay with her parents until married and can’t live alone that is refused by the sociaty...

But in Canada, is different, you can found a teenager spend all the time with her boyfriend, live with him and be pregnant.  Here is allowed.

Another thing, the food.... In my country we had a different kind of food.  The essential is rice, pasta...Food  - make you fat.  But in Canada, is different, you can found a healtly food, we have a lot of variety.

I Can see the difference in clothes, in my country we can’t wear a nude clothing, but here in Canada is more free, you can wear a short, minidress, miniskirt they have a liberty.

Something elese and finally, in my country the family is committed and have a relationship, but here is a little bit different, everyone have his own life.

It’s nice to live in this country and acquire a diferent culture....
